Monthly Report for April 2004
The Board of EPIC has accomplished the following since being elected:
- We have authorized Karen Woods, Janice Strand and Laura Adlam to represent EPIC at the BEA in Chicago, June 4-6.
- We have authorized John Schembra to represent EPIC at a college writers' conference in California in June.
- We have requested committee chairs to submit their budget requests for the coming year.
- We are considering a number of things, including writing the budget to run through June 2005, so that an incoming Board will not be faced with the problem of drawing up a budget immediately upon coming into office.
- Subsequent to a vote of the vote of the membership, the By Laws will be revised to allow produced screenwriters and playwrights writer memberships in EPIC.
